Athletes come in many forms but the key to athletic performance is physics and physiology. Your ability to tolerate loads and different speeds and your ability to produce a force either against the ground, the ball or the opponent is the key to your being the best. When an athlete becomes injured, a course of treatment to build load tolerance and improve force production restores performance. My mentor is a PT for a professional rugby team.
